ecording is a social enterprise that develops sustainable and innovative environmental technologies against the global climate crisis and our product ecoDrone, is an unmanned aerial vehicle that delivers airborne seed cannon shoots in hard-to-reach areas that need to be afforested. We are looking for a passionate engineer to join our R&D team who will be mainly involved in prototyping ecoDrones and conducting aerial seeding operations. What You’ll Do

• Idea generation and troubleshooting on the process from the design of the MVP of the product prototypes to the final product.
• Carrying out the production process with the required production technique in the production processes of product prototypes, and devising prototypes and products electronically and mechanically.
• Play an active role in the assembly and routine maintenance processes and the execution of the test processes in experimental ways.
• Work with the product team full-time in our main office in Besiktas, Istanbul.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion to learn, develop and innovate 
• Previous internships or related experience in drones
• Fresh graduate from related departments of universities (Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering departments are preferred)
• Preferably an IHA I license owner
• Owns a B class driver’s license, reside in Istanbul, and can travel
• Fluent in English 
• Highly skilled at using tools, being skilled at power tools would be a plus
• Skilled at research & development, innovative, creative, and highly skilled at problem-solving
• At least experienced in one CAD program and designed at least 50 parts, complex machines would be a plus 
• Have a basic level of knowledge on electronic circuits/electronic components
• At least know one of these programs: Altium, eagle, proteus and designed 4 projects 
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in open source drones 
• Designed at least 2 projects on embedded systems or had a critical role on a serious project
• Have Basic Arduino Programming knowledge, being able to develop STM firmware is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the programming language C
