Yaz mevsimi kap\u0131dayken, 1980\u2019lerden beri g\u00f6r\u00fclmemi\u015f a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 s\u0131caklarla kar\u015f\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131ya kalma tehlikesindeki T\u00fcrkiye, orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan riskli bir co\u011frafyada bulunuyor. (1<\/span><\/a>)<\/a> 2022 y\u0131l\u0131 Ekim ay\u0131 itibariyle 14.000 hektar ye\u015fil alan\u0131n\u0131 kaybetmi\u015f olan T\u00fcrkiye<\/strong> (2)<\/span><\/a> k\u0131rm\u0131z\u0131 alarm vermeye ba\u015flamadan, biyo\u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fi ve ya\u015fam\u0131 korumak hepimizin elinde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n S\u0131cak ge\u00e7ecek bir yaz mevsimine girmek \u00fczereyken, bu yaz\u0131m\u0131zda, karbon sal\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n ve k\u00fcresel s\u0131cakl\u0131klar\u0131n artmas\u0131n\u0131n sonucu olarak iklim krizinin etkisiyle, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin biyo\u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fini tehdit eden orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n nedenlerini, sonu\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 ve \u00f6nleme y\u00f6ntemlerini inceliyoruz.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Birle\u015fmi\u015f Milletler, orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131 \u201corman, otlak, \u00e7al\u0131l\u0131k veya tundra gibi do\u011fal bir ortamda do\u011fal yak\u0131tlar\u0131 t\u00fcketen ve kontrols\u00fcz bir \u015fekilde yay\u0131larak bitkilerin yanmas\u0131 veya yak\u0131lmas\u0131\u201d olarak tan\u0131mlamaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n National Geographic, bir orman yang\u0131n\u0131n\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131 i\u00e7in ortamda yak\u0131t, oksijen ve \u0131s\u0131 kayna\u011f\u0131n\u0131n olmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fini belirtiyor. Yak\u0131t olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan \u015feyler ise a\u011fa\u00e7lar, \u00e7imenler, \u00e7al\u0131lar ve hatta evler dahil olmak \u00fczere bir ate\u015fi \u00e7evreleyen herhangi bir yan\u0131c\u0131 madde olabilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bir b\u00f6lgenin yak\u0131t y\u00fck\u00fc ne kadar b\u00fcy\u00fckse, yang\u0131n o kadar yo\u011fun olur. (<\/span><\/a>3)<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Co\u011frafi ko\u015fullar, yang\u0131n\u0131n davran\u0131\u015f\u0131 \u00fczerinde g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc etkilere sahiptir. \u00d6rne\u011fin, yang\u0131nlar yoku\u015f yukar\u0131 halde, yoku\u015f a\u015fa\u011f\u0131 oldu\u011fundan daha h\u0131zl\u0131 yay\u0131lma e\u011filimindedir. Genellikle yang\u0131nlar, ko\u015fullar\u0131n daha s\u0131cak oldu\u011fu ve r\u00fczgar\u0131n yoku\u015f yukar\u0131 esme e\u011filiminde oldu\u011fu g\u00fcn boyunca daha aktiftir. Baz\u0131lar\u0131 do\u011fal sebeplerden kaynaklan\u0131rken, baz\u0131lar\u0131 insan kaynakl\u0131d\u0131r:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u0130nsanl\u0131k atmosfere daha fazla sera gaz\u0131 sal\u0131p daha fazla \u0131s\u0131y\u0131 hapsederken, y\u00fczey s\u0131cakl\u0131klar\u0131 potansiyel olarak y\u0131k\u0131c\u0131 seviyelere y\u00fckseliyor. Daha y\u00fcksek s\u0131cakl\u0131klar ve iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi, artan \u0131s\u0131 dalgalar\u0131yla ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131d\u0131r ve bu da daha uzun kurakl\u0131klara ve daha az ya\u011f\u0131\u015fa yol a\u00e7ar. (5)<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tutu\u015fturulabilecek daha fazla kuru bitki \u00f6rt\u00fcs\u00fc ve daha y\u00fcksek \u015fim\u015fekli f\u0131rt\u0131na oranlar\u0131yla, orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131 yayg\u0131nla\u015fmakla kalm\u0131yor, a\u011fa\u00e7lar daha h\u0131zl\u0131 yan\u0131yor ve daha geni\u015f bir alana yay\u0131l\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2021’de, ba\u015fta Sibirya, ABD ve T\u00fcrkiye olmak \u00fczere d\u00fcnyan\u0131n d\u00f6rt bir yan\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131, Almanya’n\u0131n y\u0131ll\u0131k CO2 emisyonunun iki kat\u0131ndan fazlas\u0131na e\u015fde\u011fer, toplam 1,76 milyar ton karbon sald\u0131. <\/strong>(6)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u0130nsanlar\u0131n dikkatsizli\u011fi veya kas\u0131tl\u0131 olarak yang\u0131n \u00e7\u0131karmas\u0131 orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131na neden olur. Yanl\u0131\u015f yerlerde yap\u0131lan piknikler veya ate\u015f yakma, sigara izmaritleri b\u0131rakma gibi nedenlerle yang\u0131nlar \u00e7\u0131kabilir. \u0130nsanlar\u0131n neden oldu\u011fu orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n %43’\u00fc ihtiyats\u0131zl\u0131klarla (sigara izmaritleri, \u00e7\u00f6p birikintileri, yakma vb.) ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131d\u0131r. (7)<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m d\u00fc\u015fmesi, volkanik patlamalar veya \u00e7\u00f6kmeler gibi do\u011fal afetler orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131na neden olabilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ormanlar\u0131n yanl\u0131\u015f y\u00f6netimi orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131na neden olabilir. \u00d6zellikle ormanl\u0131k alanlar\u0131n d\u00fczenli olarak temizlenmemesi, yanl\u0131\u015f a\u011fa\u00e7 t\u00fcrlerinin kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 gibi sebeplerden dolay\u0131 yang\u0131nlar daha kolay \u00e7\u0131kabilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2001’den 2021’e kadar T\u00fcrkiye, orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131nda 87,7 hektar a\u011fa\u00e7 <\/strong>\u00f6rt\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fc kaybetti. Bu d\u00f6nemde yang\u0131nlar nedeniyle a\u011fa\u00e7 \u00f6rt\u00fcs\u00fc kayb\u0131n\u0131n en fazla oldu\u011fu y\u0131l, 27,0 hektar ile 2021 <\/strong>oldu. (8)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00dclkemizdeki orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n iki t\u00fcr\u00fc oldu\u011fu belirtiliyor: \u00f6rt\u00fc yang\u0131nlar\u0131 ve tepe yang\u0131nlar\u0131. \u00d6rt\u00fc yang\u0131nlar\u0131, orman topra\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6rten \u00f6l\u00fc ve diri \u00f6rt\u00fcy\u00fc yakan yang\u0131nlar olarak tan\u0131mlan\u0131yor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Bu yang\u0131nlar, topra\u011f\u0131 \u00f6rten yan\u0131c\u0131 maddelerin yo\u011fun olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 toprak yap\u0131lanmalar\u0131nda genellikle a\u011fa\u00e7lara zarar vermezler. Bu t\u00fcr yang\u0131nlarda orman\u0131n \u00f6rt\u00fcs\u00fc, a\u011fa\u00e7lar\u0131n g\u00f6vdeleri ve tepeleri \u00e7e\u015fitli \u015fiddetlerde yanarak a\u011fa\u00e7lar kurutabilir ve biyo\u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fi b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde tahrip eder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131 do\u011fal ya\u015fam\u0131, insanlar\u0131 ve ekonomiyi olumsuz etkiler:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131, y\u00fcz binlerce canl\u0131 t\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn ya\u015fam alan\u0131n\u0131 yok eder. Yang\u0131n sonras\u0131 b\u00f6lgedeki topraklar\u0131n yap\u0131s\u0131 bozulur, tar\u0131m arazileri kullan\u0131lamaz hale gelir ve \u00e7evredeki su kaynaklar\u0131 da kirlenebilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Otlayan memeliler ve b\u00f6cekler gibi ot\u00e7ullar \u00fczerindeki yang\u0131n\u0131 etkileri, \u00f6zellikle ikincisi besin d\u00f6ng\u00fcs\u00fc ve tozla\u015fma gibi temel ekosistem fonksiyonlar\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan, \u00e7evre a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan geri d\u00f6n\u00fclemez sonu\u00e7lara sahip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n T\u00fcrkiye’de 2022’den buyana 1,6 hektar arazi yand\u0131. \u00dclke, 2001 ile 2021 aras\u0131ndaki d\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131ndaki a\u011fa\u00e7 \u00f6rt\u00fcs\u00fc kayb\u0131n\u0131n %53’\u00fcnden sorumlu olan 9 b\u00f6lgeden biri. (<\/a>10)<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Her orman yang\u0131n\u0131nda, su havzalar\u0131 ya\u011fmur suyu ak\u0131\u015f\u0131na ve erozyona kar\u015f\u0131 daha savunmas\u0131z hale geliyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bir orman yang\u0131n\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan, topra\u011f\u0131n su emme kapasitesi \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde tehlikeye giriyor. Havzalar, bir orman yang\u0131n\u0131ndan sonra 15 y\u0131l boyunca (11)<\/span><\/a> daha y\u00fcksek seviyelerde nitrojen ve \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015f karbondioksit tutabilir ve bu da \u00e7evredeki topluluklarda i\u00e7me suyu kalitesini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr\u00fcr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bitki \u00f6rt\u00fcs\u00fcn\u00fcn kayb\u0131 erozyonu art\u0131rarak, topraktaki besin mevcudiyetini azaltarak, hastal\u0131k ve ha\u015fere istilas\u0131 i\u00e7in y\u00fcksek bir risk olu\u015fturarak bir ekosistemi \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde de\u011fi\u015ftirebilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Orman bitki \u00f6rt\u00fcs\u00fc y\u0131lda 7,6 milyar metrik ton karbondioksit emebilir. (12)<\/a> <\/span>D\u00fcnyan\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fck karbon yutaklar\u0131ndan birini yang\u0131nlardan korumak, D\u00fcnya\u2019ya ve kendimize yapabilece\u011fimiz en b\u00fcy\u00fck iyiliklerden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n M\u00fclk kayb\u0131 da orman yang\u0131nlar\u0131n\u0131n ani bir ekonomik etkisidir, ancak y\u0131llarca devam eden dalgalanma etkileri de vard\u0131r. M\u00fclkiyet kayb\u0131, bireylerin ve ailelerin evlerinden \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131, i\u015fletmelerin yok olmas\u0131n\u0131 ve sigortac\u0131lar i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli etkileri beraberinde getirir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Toplulu\u011funuzda en yayg\u0131n ne zaman, nerede ve ne t\u00fcr yang\u0131nlar \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 bilmek, bunlar\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcne ge\u00e7mek i\u00e7in birincil ad\u0131md\u0131r. \u00d6rne\u011fin; T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de yang\u0131nlar\u0131n fazlal\u0131kla g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc vakit genellikle Haziran ortas\u0131nda ba\u015flar ve yakla\u015f\u0131k 19 hafta s\u00fcrer.
